Braingrade is a Berlin-based neurotechnology company (Braingrade GmbH) founded in 2019 that is developing an intelligent brain implant combining deep brain stimulation and brain-computer interface technology to preserve brain health and enhance cognition. Its first target indication is Alzheimer's Disease, where the company aims to extend patients' healthy, independent lifespan, eventually via an electrode implanted deep in the brain near the hippocampus. The founding team is drawn from established neurotech companies alongside memory researchers, neurosurgeons, and neurologists.
