Sabi

Sabi is a San Francisco startup building a non-invasive brain-computer interface in a wearable cap and beanie form factor, using a dense array of tens of thousands of miniaturized EEG sensors to decode attempted and internal speech into text. It trains a brain foundation model on large-scale neural recordings to generalize across users, targeting an initial typing speed near 30 words per minute. The company emerged from stealth in April 2026 and aims to ship its first device by the end of that year, with backing from Khosla Ventures, Accel, Initialized, and Kevin Weil.
