Ben Heywood

Ben Heywood is a general partner at SkyRiver Ventures, which he co-founded in 2021 to invest in early-stage deep tech between North America and Asia. He previously co-founded PatientsLikeMe with his brother Jamie, serving as its president, and the company was acquired by UnitedHealth Group in 2019. His family's experience of ALS, after his brother Stephen's diagnosis, shaped that work, and he received a humanitarian award from the International Alliance of ALS/MND Associations in 2016.
