Edward F. Chang

Edward Chang, known as Eddie, is a UCSF neurosurgeon whose lab developed the first speech neuroprosthesis, decoding words and sentences from the brain activity of people with severe paralysis using high-density electrocorticography arrays on the cortical surface.
